(Osaka City, President and Representative Director: Hidetoshi Segi), in collaboration with the Society for Japanese Association of Geriatric Dermatology Research Fund Japanese Association of Geriatric Dermatology Research is pleased to announce the recipients of the 19th Rohto Prize, a research fund established in 2007.
The "Rohto Prize Japanese Association of Geriatric Dermatology Research Fund" aims to broadly encourage and support basic and clinical research and studies related to aging dermatology. A selection committee composed of prominent dermatologists conducts a rigorous and fair review, awarding a certificate and research funding (500,000 yen per person for one project) to three researchers who have conducted outstanding research. While there are many grants and awards related to dermatology, this is the only award specifically focused on "aging skin."
For this 19th edition, the award ceremony was held at the 21st Annual Japanese Association of Geriatric Dermatology Research (held November 1-2, 2025, in Okinawa Prefecture).
