ROHTO Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Osaka City, President: Masafumi Sugimoto) is promoting health and productivity management in order to realize the Rohto Group's comprehensive management vision "Connect for Well-being," and is providing opportunities for each employee to focus on their health.
We are pleased to announce that our company has been certified by the Japan Sports Agency as a "Sports Yell Company 2024," recognizing our efforts to support and promote sports activities among our employees. Furthermore, having received the "Silver" certification more than seven times since 2018, we have been awarded the "Plus" certification for having over 70% of our employees participate in sports at least once a week.
Of the 1,246 organizations certified by the Japan Sports Agency, this year saw the first-ever "Silver+" certification, and our company is one of only seven organizations (0.6%) to qualify.
Our company will continue to support the health promotion of each and every employee and will continue our proactive efforts.
Company-wide initiatives to promote daily health

Daily morning exercises (since 1970)
This year, we have created an original Rohto exercise program that incorporates exercises for stiff shoulders and lower back pain, fall prevention, eye and facial muscle exercises, and brain training, and we are conducting it at the start of the workday.

Physical fitness tests (since 2002)
We conduct physical fitness tests for all employees, aiming for an 80% ratio of employees whose actual age is greater than their healthy age, providing them with an opportunity to reassess their own physical condition each year.

"New Well Challenge 2023" (2023) is an exercise initiative that encourages fun challenges with friends.
Based on a concept that combines "exercise," "communication," and "health independence," we proposed exercise-related goals and plans tailored to the health challenges of each department, and implemented initiatives as a team.

What is Sports Yell Company?
The Japan Sports Agency certifies companies that actively promote sports activities to improve the health of their employees as "Sports Yell Company," with the aim of encouraging sports participation among the "prime working generation" and fostering social momentum for sports. The aim is to increase the social reputation of companies that create an environment where employees can enjoy sports, thereby leading to an increase in the rate of sports participation among the entire nation, including the "prime working generation."
