Background of the initiative

In 2006, our company established "Rohto Research Village Kyoto" in Kizugawa City as a core research and development base. This research institute, where diverse knowledge converges, fosters collaboration among researchers both inside and outside the company. We launched this project in cooperation with Kizugawa City, with whom we have a close relationship as a company located there, and with the Graduate School of Business Administration, which provides the program. We are participating in this agreement with the aim of strengthening our partnership with both parties and contributing to the local community.

  3. It is something that will contribute to the development of the Kizugawa city area and is deemed necessary by all three parties.
