we have been recognized as a "Sports Yell Company 2025" Silver+ for the second consecutive year.

ROHTO Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Osaka City, President: Masafumi Sugimoto) is promoting health and productivity management in order to realize the Rohto Group's comprehensive management vision "Connect for Well-being," and is providing opportunities for each employee to focus on their health.
We are pleased to announce that our company has been certified by the Japan Sports Agency as a "Sports Yell Company 2025," a designation given to companies that implement initiatives to support and promote sports activities among their employees. Furthermore, this marks our eighth consecutive year of certification since the program began in 2018, and we have achieved a 70% or higher employee participation rate in sports at least once a week, earning us the "Silver+" certification for the second consecutive year.
Of the 1,491 organizations certified by the Japan Sports Agency, only 17 (1.1%), including our company, have received the "Silver+" certification. We will continue our proactive efforts to support the health promotion of each and every employee.
Company-wide initiatives to promote daily health
Daily morning exercises (since 1970)
With the aim of preventing stiff shoulders, lower back pain, and falls, as well as allowing employees to check their own health status, we conduct radio calisthenics and other exercises at the start of the workday, incorporating original exercises suggested by employees to keep everyone engaged and enjoying the process.
Physical fitness tests (since 2002)
We conduct physical fitness tests for all employees, aiming for an 80% employee ratio where the healthy age is less than the actual age. This provides an opportunity for employees to reassess their physical condition each year. *Number of participants in FY2023: 1,767
"TokoChalle 2024 Sleep+" is a company-wide initiative to improve exercise habits and sleep.
To encourage the establishment of exercise habits, we regularly held a walking event called "TokoChalle," and combined it with sleep. Teams, mainly based on their respective units, encouraged each other to walk "8,000 steps a day and walk briskly for 20 minutes," and worked towards behavioral changes regarding sleep.

What is Sports Yell Company?
The Japan Sports Agency certifies companies that actively promote sports activities to improve the health of their employees as "Sports Yell Company," with the aim of encouraging sports participation among the "prime working generation" and fostering social momentum for sports. The aim is to increase the social reputation of companies that create an environment where employees can enjoy sports, thereby leading to an increase in the rate of sports participation among the entire nation, including the "prime working generation."
