ROHTO Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture; President: Masafumi Sugimoto) will launch "Dydo x Rohto Berry Water," a functional food product in the eye care category containing the functional ingredient "monoglucosylrutin *1," in collaboration with Dydo Drinco Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture; President: Takanori Nakajima; hereinafter referred to as Dydo Drinco), on Monday, March 17th.
*1: This is a type of polyphenol, "rutin," which is also found in buckwheat, and has been enzymatically treated to increase its water solubility. It is also called "enzyme-treated rutin." (The product uses raw materials that have been enzymatically treated with rutin derived from the legume plant Sophora japonica.)

Background of the release
According to a survey by Dydo Drinco, consumer health awareness has increased even further since the COVID-19 pandemic, and it has become clear that the concept of "well-being," which means "wanting to be healthy and happy in mind, body, and socially," is becoming more widespread. *2 On the other hand, in an environment where the use of digital devices such as personal computers and smartphones is indispensable in daily life, approximately 80% of people are aware of "eye problems." *3 These "eye problems" affect the quality of life and have become a health issue for all generations.
