"ROHTO Healthcare DAY ~Feel Science & Passion~" to be held at Osaka-Kansai Expo!
~Three days to unravel the mysteries with all five senses: See, touch, and feel~

ROHTO Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture, President: Masafumi Sugimoto) is providing new future experiential exhibits in two areas: "Regenerative medicine" and "eye care" at the "Osaka Healthcare Pavilion Nest for Reborn" (hereinafter, Osaka Healthcare Pavilion), which is exhibited by Osaka Prefecture, Osaka City, and the Osaka Pavilion Promotion Committee for the 2025 Japan International Exposition (Osaka-Kansai Expo). We are now holding a three-day limited event, "ROHTO Healthcare DAY ~Feel Science & Passion~," at the event venue within the pavilion. At this event, we will propose "things you can do starting today" along with the well-being future that we aim for, and we have prepared a variety of content that visitors can experience through all five senses.
What is ROHTO Healthcare DAY?
"ROHTO Healthcare DAY" is an interactive exhibition that embodies our vision for a world of well-being. Beyond the permanent booths focusing on eye care and Regenerative medicine, the exhibition showcases a wide range of businesses, including "Skincare & UV Care," "Eye Care," and "Agriculture & Food." Our aim is to encourage everyone to take their first steps towards health through "things you can start doing today." Furthermore, the exhibition expresses hope for the future through experiences with new technologies predicted to be feasible in the near future.
Furthermore, through touch-up experiences, exhibits, and technological presentations related to the Expo's theme "REBORN," visitors can experience the future that our company envisions. Going beyond mere technology displays, we aim to create a place that appeals to all five senses and stirs the heart, becoming a special memory for each and every visitor.
Exhibition Overview and Features
We will be offering experiential exhibits based on three themes: "Skincare & UV Care," "Eye Care," and "Agriculture & Food."

Skincare and UV protection
Through an experience that visualizes UV protection firsthand, we will convey the importance of daily skincare. You will also have the opportunity to try out the latest sunscreen formulations and learn basic information about skin and UV care.
- Experience visualizing the effectiveness of sunscreen using a UV camera.
- Special design UV stickers for EXPO will be distributed.

Eye care
We will introduce examples of "Future Eye Care" exhibited at the Eye Care booth within the Osaka Healthcare Pavilion. You can experience the new technology through demonstrations using the actual equipment.
- Introduction to a technology that improves amblyopia in children using VR programs (provided by InnoJin Inc.)
- Introducing advanced technology for checking mental health through visual cues (provided by Neuralport Inc.)

Agri-Food
From our algae business on Kumejima Island, we will be selling blue soda made with algae, which has potential as a sustainable raw material.
- Soda made using seaweed from the Kumejima project and ingredients from Osaka will be available for sale (limited quantities).

Stage production for the digital human "NEO Kokoro"
Introducing "NEO Kokoro," a digital human version of our VTuber, Neba Kiyokoro. Using a signage-type monitor, she will provide customers with highly specialized knowledge on eye care and skin care. English and Chinese language support is also available.

She belongs to the Skincare Product Development Department and the Public Relations/CSV Promotion Department, and as a side job, she began working as the company's official YouTuber on June 10, 2018, "Rohto Day."
