holding the "Osaka EXPO Healthy Menu + Carbohydrate Care" event
. The cafe and restaurant "ROHTO RECIPE" will offer a special menu that meets Osaka Prefecture's recommended "VOS (Plenty of Vegetables, Appropriate Oil, Appropriate Salt)" standards, uses ingredients from Osaka, and keeps carbohydrates to just 38g per serving.

ROHTO Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture, President: Hidetoshi Segi), in collaboration with its group company Rohto Wellcoat Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture, President: Masanori Kumazawa), Osaka Prefecture, and Ezaki Glico Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture, President: Etsuro Ezaki, hereinafter referred to as Ezaki Glico), will hold a limited-time event, "Osaka EXPO Healthy Menu + Carbohydrate Care," at ROHTO RECIPE NU Chayamachi store from November 13th (Thursday) to November 26th (Wednesday), 2025, coinciding with World Diabetes Day on November 14th. Using ingredients from Osaka, which are the standards for Osaka Prefecture's "Osaka EXPO Healthy Menu," they have devised "Autumn Salmon and Osaka-grown Arugula SUNAO Chewy Pasta and Seasonal Deli Set," which meets the "VOS (plenty of vegetables, appropriate amount of oil, appropriate amount of salt)" standard and also the "appropriate carbohydrate*1" standard of 20g to 40g of carbohydrates. Through delicious dishes that are gentle on the body with appropriate carbohydrate content, we aim to provide an opportunity to raise awareness of "health" and "carbohydrates."
*1: "Appropriate carbohydrate intake" refers to a moderate carbohydrate restriction advocated by the Food, Enjoyment, and Health Association, which aims to control carbohydrate intake to 20-40g per meal and 70-130g per day. This aims to allow people to enjoy carbohydrates without worrying about calories or fat, and to have a satisfying relationship with carbohydrates.

What is the Osaka EXPO Healthy Menu?
Osaka Prefecture is promoting the development of a healthy eating environment and advocating for "VOS menus," which are healthy menus that take into consideration the amount of vegetables, oil, and salt, with the aim of extending the healthy life expectancy of its residents. Menus that combine a main dish and a side dish and meet all of the following criteria are approved as "VOS menus." Furthermore, in commemoration of the Osaka-Kansai Expo, menus that meet the above criteria while also incorporating elements of Osaka-produced products and Osaka gourmet food have been approved as "Osaka EXPO Healthy Menus."

What is SUNAO Mochi Pasta?
"SUNAO" is a brand created for customers to enjoy eating 100% while being mindful of their health. As a product that balances "deliciousness" and "appropriate carbohydrate content," we launched ice cream in 2017, biscuits in 2018, and "SUNAO Mochi Pasta" in February 2022. To achieve a chewy texture without compromising the original deliciousness of pasta, we used glutinous barley flour. By using flat noodles, the sauce clings well to the pasta, resulting in a flavorful dish. And despite this satisfying texture, the carbohydrate content per serving has been adjusted to 21.4g.
