ROHTO Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Osaka City; President: Hidetoshi Seki) has collaborated with the hugely popular TV anime "NARUTO Shippuden," which is loved by people of all ages and countries, to release limited-edition refreshing eye drops: "ROHTO Zi G-b NARUTO (Uchiha Sasuke)," "ROHTO Zi Contact b NARUTO (Hatake Kakashi)," and "ROHTO Zi d NARUTO (Uchiha Itachi)." These products will be available at drugstores and e-commerce sites nationwide from Thursday, January 29th.

Background of the collaboration
Our eyes are often overworked in today's digital society. We want to make it easier for people to enjoy caring for symptoms such as fatigue. This desire led to a collaboration with "NARUTO Shippuden," a series featuring characters who wield techniques related to the eyes. With the desire to cherish and protect everyone's eyes, we propose positive eye care habits together with this work, which is loved across borders.

What is "NARUTO"?
This is a boys' manga by Masashi Kishimoto that was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump. It quickly gained popularity after it began serialization in 1999, and ended in 2014 with the 700th episode.
The story of the main character, ninja Uzumaki Naruto, who overcomes deadly battles with rivals and past grudges to become the leader of the Hidden Leaf Village, Hokage, has gained popularity around the world, and the total number of copies of the manga published in over 60 countries and regions has exceeded 250 million.
The TV anime began airing on TV Tokyo in 2002, and was renamed "NARUTO Shippuden" in 2007, running until March 2017. October 2022 marked the 20th anniversary of the TV broadcast. Eleven theatrical anime films have also been released. The TV anime is currently broadcast in over 145 countries and regions around the world, and is a nationally beloved work loved all over the world.
In addition to numerous developments such as apps, games, and merchandise, the range of activities is diverse, including exhibitions, 2.5-dimensional musicals, music festivals, and kabuki.
