Recent examples of initiatives
"TokoChalle Kiwami," a company-wide walking event aimed at establishing regular exercise habits (starting October 2025).
With the aim of increasing the percentage of employees who take 8,000 steps and 20 minutes of brisk walking per day, we evolved our walking event "TokoChalle," which we have been running since 2017, and implemented it as "TokoChalle Extreme."
Through daily drills and video content, employees learned about the importance of walking, and by focusing not only on improving the "quantity" but also the "quality" of walking, the program, which lasted approximately three weeks, resulted in not only an increase in the rate of achieving exercise goals but also improved communication among employees and reduced presenteeism.
"Health Festival '25 Autumn - Sleep, Metabolic Syndrome, and Anemia Improvement Challenge" (September 2025) - Aiming to review lifestyle habits.
To encourage employees to confront their own health and initiate behavioral changes, we implemented a two-month improvement challenge focusing on three key areas: "improving sleep satisfaction," "reducing the number of employees with metabolic syndrome," and "reducing the number of employees with anemia."
We conducted literacy improvement seminars and a program to set and implement specific action goals. 271 volunteers participated, and the satisfaction rate exceeded 90%.
Introduction of a "whole-body cancer screening" system utilizing the latest MRI technology (starting June 2025)
Scenes during the examination
In addition to regular health checkups, our company has expanded support for additional health checkups such as PET scans and brain checkups. Now, starting in June 2025, we have introduced a new support system for receiving a "whole-body cancer checkup" utilizing the latest MRI technology.
We support the early detection of diseases and cancers that often have few noticeable symptoms, aiming to extend the healthy lifespan of our employees and contribute to the long-term well-being of our workforce.
