Regarding support for the 2026 Kumamoto Earthquake

We extend our deepest sympathies to all those affected by the 2026 Kumamoto Earthquake and their families.
Furthermore, I offer my deepest condolences to those who have passed away, and I sincerely pray for everyone's safety and a swift return to normalcy.
Rohto Pharmaceutical has always valued supporting children during disasters, addressing the challenges they face that can often be overlooked during the recovery process.
Since the establishment of the "MICHINOKU Future Fund" after the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake, we have been working to ensure that children in disaster-stricken areas can learn, grow up, and return to their normal lives, including in response to the 2016 Kumamoto Earthquake and the 2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake.
In the wake of the 2026 Kumamoto Earthquake, we believe it is crucial to create a safe environment for affected children as quickly as possible. Therefore, we are making donations to the certified NPO Katariba, which is working on activities such as creating safe spaces for children in the affected areas.
This donation will be used to support activities that help children who are experiencing various anxieties due to the earthquake.
Rohto Pharmaceutical will continue to consider and implement initiatives that support children and local communities, taking into account the situation and needs in the disaster-stricken areas.
In addition, we are providing our "Heart Food" product (long-lasting rice balls) through our partner companies to help with the recovery of the disaster-stricken areas.
I sincerely pray for the safety of everyone in the affected areas and for their swift recovery and reconstruction.
