About Rohto Women's Health Research Award

It developed from the Women's Health Science Research Group, which was established in 2009, and was established by Rohto Pharmaceutical in 2019.
The award is given to researchers at Japanese universities and equivalent research institutions who have made outstanding achievements in obstetrics and gynecology research, with the aim of promoting research on maternal health and infertility treatment, as well as research on women's healthy longevity in the era of the 100th anniversary of their birth, thereby contributing to the development and improvement of obstetrics and gynecology research in Japan.
After a rigorous and fair review by a selection committee consisting of seven academic experts in women's health research, three researchers who are conducting outstanding research are awarded a plaque and a prize (a total of 5 million yen, with 1 to 3 million yen per person).
This year, the following three researchers will be awarded the prize, and the following additional prizes will be presented by Rohto Pharmaceutical.
