"Mirumirunobiru"
Creating the future, unfolding from your eyes.

What is Mirumirunobiru?

Protecting and nurturing children's eyes from an early age

In recent years, the increasing prevalence of myopia in children at younger ages and its earlier progression has become a social issue.
The progression of myopia can increase the risk of future eye diseases, including glaucoma,
Taking measures to prevent nearsightedness from a young age is important.
It is considered important for protecting lifelong eye health.
On the other hand, it is difficult for children to notice their own vision deteriorating.
Numerous cases have been reported where nearsightedness had already progressed by the time parents noticed it.

Against this backdrop, Rohto Pharmaceutical aims to prevent myopia in children,
Our aim is to nurture and develop the future potential of children.
We have launched a new project called "Mirumirunobiru".

Leveraging the knowledge we have cultivated through the development of eye care products for children,
From a new perspective of "nurturing" rather than just "protecting",
This initiative aims to protect children's eye health from an early age.
Going forward, we will implement various actions to nurture children's eyes and potential.

Let's learn

What kind of children are prone to nearsightedness?

If multiple of the following apply to you, in the future,
It is said that this increases the risk of developing nearsightedness.

  • My parents are nearsighted.
  • Playing outside
I don't do it very often.
  • close distance
    Books
  • smartphones and
Playing games for more than an hour
    Keep going
  • During school breaks
    I'm often in the classroom
  • Short sleep duration
  • Going to bed late

Three key points to protect your vision: Sa-ga-so

difference

Take a break from your eyes every 30 minutes.

Prolonged periods of looking at things up close, such as smartphones and tablets, can strain your eyes.
Every 30 minutes, take a break and look at something far away (more than 2 meters indoors) for at least 30 seconds to rest your eyes.

but

Keep your eyes at a distance of 30 cm from screens and books.

Holding screens or books too close to your eyes can lead to eye strain and increase the risk of nearsightedness.
Maintain correct posture and keep the device about 30 cm away from your eyes.

So

Let's go outside.

Outdoor activities are said to have the effect of preventing nearsightedness or slowing its progression.
Make a conscious effort to set aside time to go outside in your daily life. (Target: 2 hours per day)
