| Eligible projects for subsidy |
The activities of an organization that supports children facing difficulties due to economic circumstances, environmental factors, or other reasons, in creating a path to help them achieve their dreams. *This applies to students up to high school age. *This applies to activities within Japan.
The evaluation will be based mainly on the following points:
- 1. The project supports children in moving towards their dreams, so that their dreams and future options are not limited by the environmental factors in which they find themselves.
- ② There is a thorough analysis of the current issues and their causes.
- 3) Achievable goals must be set, the project content must be effective in resolving issues, and the project must be sustainable after completion.
- 4) The unique appeal of the business (selling points, novelty, social impact) must be demonstrated.
- ⑤ Efficient and appropriate budget planning has been carried out.

| Eligibility |
- The organization must be a non-profit organization with a track record of supporting children for at least three years.
- The purpose and activities are not biased towards any particular political or religious cause.
- No involvement whatsoever with anti-social forces.

| Application quota and grant amount |
There are two application slots, and the grant amount varies depending on the slot. There are no particular differences other than the grant amount, so please choose one of the following slots based on your business plan and apply.
- General category: 1 million to 3 million yen
- Expanded limit: 3 million to 8 million yen
*Applications that exceed the budget size of the applying organization for the previous year will not be accepted. Each organization is limited to one application.

| Items eligible for subsidies |
- This includes not only the costs directly incurred in carrying out the project (direct project costs), but also necessary personnel costs, transportation costs, and the purchase of stationery and other consumables (indirect project costs).
- General administrative expenses for running and managing the organization (such as rent for the organization's office and executive compensation) that are not directly related to this project will be limited to 10% of direct project costs.

| About the selection process |
- The first round of screening will be a document review. Please send all application documents using the form. Please note that applications submitted after the deadline or by mail will not be accepted.
- In the second round of judging, only those organizations that pass the first round will be able to make a presentation to the selection committee and participate in a question-and-answer session.
- The results of the first and second screening will be notified by email, regardless of whether your application is accepted or rejected.
- Please note that we cannot answer any inquiries regarding the selection results.

| Regarding grant funding |
After the final selection results are announced, you will be asked to sign a grant contract and submit an invoice. The funds will be transferred in one lump sum to your organization's bank account within two weeks of the invoice submission (please contact us if you do not have an account in your organization's name). |
| About the report |
Interim and final reports will be submitted. For the interim reports, an online report session will be held to confirm the progress of the project and to share experiences among project implementing organizations so that they can be utilized in the latter half of the project.
- Interim report: Submit a report (deadline October 31, 2026) and participate in a report meeting (scheduled for November)
- Final report: Submit final report (deadline May 31, 2027)
Reviewing the Plan - If it becomes necessary to review the business plan or budget plan during the implementation of the project, please be sure to consult with the secretariat in advance.
- Depending on the progress of the project, the secretariat may suggest revising the plan.
