Sending Love & Care
This is a community social contribution activity carried out in seven countries and regions: China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Taiwan, South Korea, Thailand, and Singapore. In 2021, efforts focused on children were carried out in each country.
Establishment of child welfare facilities
In China, we have started an orphanage with the China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation, employing village women to care for and educate the children.
Providing health to children
In Thailand, we have worked to improve the quality of drinking water in two schools in poor areas to reduce the risk of kidney stones, and in other countries we are providing meals and basic necessities to children.
Creating educational opportunities for children
In Malaysia, we partnered with retailers to raise funds to provide educational support to underprivileged students and set up mini-libraries in schools, while in Taiwan we launched a limited edition Mentholatum ointment, with proceeds from sales of 288,000 units donated to the Taipei Orphan Welfare Foundation to provide scholarships for 150 orphans.
