overview
The Society was established in 2009 as the Society for Women's Health Science Research. Currently, Rohto Women's Health Research Award provides research grants to promote research on maternal health and infertility treatment, as well as research on women's healthy longevity in the 100-year era, with the aim of contributing to the development and improvement of obstetrics and gynecology research in Japan. The award is presented to three young obstetrics and gynecology researchers who have made outstanding contributions to research on pregnancy, childbirth, and women's healthy longevity. The winners are selected through a rigorous and fair review by a selection committee consisting of seven obstetricians and gynecologists, and a commemorative lecture will be given at a seminar co-sponsored by the Japan Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology Academic Conference.
