Rohto Pharmaceutical Health White Paper

At Rohto Pharmaceutical, we consider the well-being of "individuals" to be the source of our growth, and we are committed to health and productivity management with the aim of making "working at Rohto Pharmaceutical a way to improve your health." Based on this philosophy of health and productivity management, the "Rohto Pharmaceutical Health White Paper" was published for the first time in December 2025 with the aim of compiling health-related measures and related data and communicating them in an easy-to-understand manner to everyone inside and outside the company.
This white paper outlines the objectives and policies of our health promotion efforts, our progress to date, major initiatives, results, and various indicators. Our aim is to improve the health awareness of each employee and to enhance well-being together with everyone inside and outside the company.

External Evaluation

In March 2026, we received our ninth certification in six consecutive years as a "Certified Health & Productivity Management Outstanding Organization (White 500)," a designation jointly selected by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and the Japan Health Council.
Furthermore, in January 2026, the company was certified as a "Sports Yell Company 2026" by the Japan Sports Agency. Having received certification more than nine times since 2018, it earned the "Silver" certification, and an additional "Plus" certification due to its employee participation rate of over 70% in sports at least once a week.
In August 2024, the menu offered at our head office cafeteria (meals provided by Shidax Contract Food Service Co., Ltd.) received the highest rank of three stars (criteria: substantial) in the "Healthy Eating and Food Environment (commonly known as Smart Meal)" certification program organized by the Healthy Eating and Food Environment Consortium.
